Definitely, applesauce, it tastes exactly the same. In addition to the less fat than the oil.
Margarine, tablespoons Miracle Whip or May, dry box instant pudding mix there for pie. I tried the brownies with margarine and were terrible so I had with the oil or something else ..
You can try yogurt. Applesauce is my number one pick.
