Will a transmission from a 2000 Ford Econoline 4.6 Triton fit a 2003 F-150 4.6 triton? - econoline truck
I have a 2003 Ford F-150 with a blown gearbox, and my boss has a transfer from his old truck had been rebuilt. She fell on a 2000 Ford Econoline, one has Trition 4.6 Since my truck. Does anyone know whether it is or I will go and pull my transmission and see if they are identical?

Ok ... 03 F150 4.6 and 00 Van have two so-called Trans 4R70W, but the 00 Van exchanges only with a van just 00!. During the 03 F150 is the exchange with:

.... In these times Cars are a pain in the ass with all the electrical systems in them, and sometimes the computer is programmed only for the only trans ... so I hope this helps ...
I check to see if all the electronic records are the same, if so, the pattern of long screws, shields, a member of the cross are all ..... be compatible and have no trouble to have the exchange.
PS You may need to change the speed sensor from your old one, no big deal.
